Hello Players,


We would like to provide detailed information regarding inventory reset for those considering the reimbursement option, as well as plan to the specifications of the PUBG x NewJeans collaboration items.


After the announcement on June 26, 14:00 (UTC), we have received concerns from many players about additional wardrobe restrictions for the PUBG x NewJeans appearance. We fully empathize with and understand your concerns regarding the sudden implementation of restrictions on the wardrobe, and we acknowledge that this may cause some uncertainties.


We would like to clarify that, aside from the 19 wardrobes mentioned in the announcement, we have no plans to restrict additional items when set to the PUBG x NewJeans appearance. PUBG:BATTLEGROUNDS team deeply respects the customization culture enjoyed by our players and prioritizes this above all. Therefore, we strive to avoid changes to the specifications of items being sold. In the unlikely event that changes are necessary, we will ensure that players are adequately informed in advance.


We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience caused by these measures. 


We understand the disappointment players may feel towards the PUBG:BATTLEGROUNDS team and sincerely apologize once again to all our players for their patience and understanding during this period.



To ensure that players can make informed decisions, we would like to provide detailed explanations, including the inventory reset process that will occur upon applying for the reimbursement option. As previously mentioned in the [Probability Display Issue Compensation Notice] and [Wardrobe Changes Refund Notice], if you choose the reimbursement option, your inventory will be reset to the state it was in upon your first login after the maintenance on June 12.


Please review the detailed information below and select either the G-COIN compensation or the reimbursement option accordingly.

Detailed Information on G-COIN Compensation and Reimbursement Options

General Information

G-COIN Compensation and Refund System Update Schedule

  • July 3, 2024 (Wed) 02:00 (UTC)


Application Period

  • July 3, 2024 (Wed) 02:00 (UTC) ~ August 2, 2024 (Fri) 02:00 (UTC)


 After the system update, there is a high probability of Steam inventory error occurrence due to significant increase in requests.

As the inventory system is integrated with the Steam server, it is very difficult to expand the server capacity. However, we will monitor the situation as the system goes Live. Please note that in the event of a server issue, processing time may be delayed.

Even if there are delays with the processing time, the requested G-COIN will be processed normally. If the Reimbursement or G-COIN Compensation is not issued after 3 hours since the request, please contact PUBG Customer Support (https://support.pubg.com/).


Important Notes for G-COIN Compensation and Reimbursement

  • Eligible players should review the detailed information below and apply for either G-COIN compensation or the reimbursement option.
  • Please note that the reimbursement option includes an inventory reset, so review the details carefully before applying.
  • If you are eligible for the compensation or reimbursement due to the PUBG x NewJeans probability display issue or wardrobe change measures, a "Apply for reimbursement or Compensation" button will appear at the bottom left of the lobby when you log in to the Live Server after 02:00 (UTC) on July 3.
  • Through the "Apply for reimbursement or Compensation" button, you can apply for either the reimbursement or G-COIN compensation option.
  • Until you complete your application, G-COIN charging and item purchases in the store, including the hideout and workshop, will be unavailable.
  • Once final selection is completed, the selected options cannot be changed, so please consider carefully before confirming your choice.
  • If you do not apply within the application period, G-COIN compensation plan will be selected automatically. Please make sure to apply for your preferred option within the period.
  • Only one of either the reimbursement or G-COIN compensation options can be selected, and once the reimbursement or compensation is completed within the application period, additional applications are not possible.
  • If you request a reimbursement through PUBG Support after this notice is issued, it will be difficult to provide assistance to prevent confusion. Please use the reimbursement and G-COIN compensation system that will be updated on July 3, 2024.
  • For platform currency refunds of the G-COIN you purchased, please contact PUBG Customer Support (https://support.pubg.com/) after the reimbursement is completed. The refund will be issued to the account each respective platform.
  • Platform currency refunds can be requested at any time during our reimbursement application period from July 3, 2024 02:00 (UTC) to August 2, 2024 02:00 (UTC).
  • When refunding G-COIN to platform currency, you must have the appropriate type and amount of G-COIN in your inventory.
    • (Example) If you purchased a 510 (500+10 bonus) G-COIN bundle, you must have 500 G-COIN + 10 bonus G-COIN to refund to the Steam Wallet.
  • If you wish to cancel the payment for platform currency (e.g., Steam Wallet), you can do so during the reimbursement and compensation system application period (July 3, 02:00 (UTC) to August 2, 02:00 (UTC)). Detailed regulations for payment cancellation follow the policies of each platform.
  • (For CN, CIS regions only) If you purchased G-COIN codes from third parties (Heybox, Sunwang, Xsolla), refunds can only be made in G-COIN. Cash refunds follow the sales policies of the third parties, so please contact the customer service of the third party where you purchased the G-COIN codes.


Eligible Players for G-COIN Compensation and Reimbursement System

  • 1) Incorrect display of the Guaranteed Set Imprint system for the PUBG x NewJeans Prime Parcel item and G-COIN Compensation System Recipients
    • Players who purchased the following items (referred to as "PUBG x NewJeans Loot Cache items") between the end of the update on June 12 (Wed) and June 13 (Thur) 13:30 (UTC).
      • PUBG x NewJeans Loot Cache Step 1 Set
      • PUBG x NewJeans Loot Cache Step 2 Set
      • PUBG x NewJeans Loot Cache Step 3 Set
      • PUBG x NewJeans Loot Cache Step 4 Set
      • PUBG x NewJeans Loot Cache Pack (x1)
      • PUBG x NewJeans Loot Cache Pack (x11)
      • PUBG x NewJeans Loot Cache Pack (x27)
      • PUBG x NewJeans Loot Cache Pack (x55)


  • 2)  Changes in Wardrobe for PUBG x NewJeans Appearance Reimbursement and G-COIN Compensation System Recipients 
    • Players who purchased "PUBG x NewJeans Loot Cache items" between the end of the update on June 12 (Wed) to June 26 (Wed) 15:00 (UTC).
    • Players who purchased items after June 26 (Wed) 15:00 (UTC) are not eligible for the reimbursement and compensation system.



G-COIN Compensation Plan

  • 1) G-COIN Compensation recipients for the Incorrect display of the Guaranteed Set Imprint system for the PUBG x NewJeans Prime Parcel item 
    • Players who purchased "PUBG x NewJeans Loot Cache items" between the end of the update on June 12 (Wed) to June 13 (Thur) 13:30 (UTC) will receive 100% of the G-COIN amount spent during the period.


  • 2) Recipients for the PUBG x NewJeans Character Outfit Restriction Reimbursement and Compensation System 
    • Players who purchased the following "PUBG x NewJeans Loot Cache items" between the end of the update on June 12 (Wed) to June 26 (Wed) 15:00 (UTC) will receive 50% of the G-COIN amount spent during the period.


  • G-COIN compensation due to outfit restrictions when setting the PUBG x NewJeans appearance was calculated separately for existing Premium Bundle Bad Luck Protection G-COIN compensation recipients. However, the compensation will be provided in a single payment for the convenience of the players.
    • (Example) If you purchased a PUBG x NewJeans Loot Pack (X55) for 12,500 G-COIN on June 13 at 05:00(UTC) and another PUBG x NewJeans Loot Pack (X27) for 6,250 G-COIN on June 20, you will receive a total of 12,500 G-COIN + 9,375 G-COIN {(12,500+6,250)/2} = 21,875 G-COIN as compensation.
    • The compensated G-COIN will be bonus G-COIN that cannot be refunded to the platform currency and has the same validity period as G-COIN available for purchase in the store.



Reimbursement Plan

  • Eligible Players: Players who purchased "PUBG x NewJeans Loot Cache items" between the end of maintenance on June 12 (Wed) and June 26 (Wed) 15:00 (UTC).

  • From the end of maintenance on June 12, 2024, until the time you request the reimbursement, all items purchased with G-COIN, including "PUBG x NewJeans Loot Cache items," will be refunded in G-COIN.

  • All items acquired immediately after the end of maintenance on June 12, 2024, will be retrieved, and the inventory will be reset to the state of the first log in after the update on June 12, 2024.

    • (Example) If you purchased the Ancient Egypt Mega Bundle for 4,360 G-COIN on June 15 and then purchased a PUBG x NewJeans Loot Pack (X27) for 6,250 G-COIN on June 21, all items resulting from the PUBG x NewJeans Loot Pack (X27) and the Ancient Egypt Mega Bundle items will be retrieved, and instead, 10,610 G-COIN will be refunded.

  • All inventory actions executed on the account, including item purchases, event and pass rewards, and growth weapon skins, will be reset. The refunded G-COIN will be reissued with the same specifications as the used G-COIN.

  • This notice provides detailed information about the inventory reset process and the reimbursement and G-COIN compensation options.

  • Players who complete the reimbursement process will receive 30 contraband coupons as compensation.


Refund Procedure

  • If you are eligible for the compensation or reimbursement due to the PUBG x NewJeans probability display issue or wardrobe change measures, "Apply for reimbursement or Compensation" button will appear at the bottom left of the lobby when you log in to the Live Server after 02:00 (UTC) on July 3.
  • Through the "Apply for reimbursement or Compensation" button, you can apply for either the reimbursement or G-COIN compensation option.
  • Once final selection is completed, the selected options cannot be changed, so please consider carefully before confirming your choice.
  • For platform currency refunds of the G-COIN you purchased, please contact PUBG Customer Support (https://support.pubg.com/) after the reimbursement is completed. The refund will be issued to the account each respective platform. 


  • Reason for Inventory Reset Approach 
    • Due to technical issues, it is not possible to retrieve only the "PUBG x NewJeans Loot Cache items." Therefore, we have decided to revert the inventory state to its status immediately after the maintenance on June 12, 2024.
    • If tokens obtained through the purchase of "PUBG x NewJeans loot items" during the eligibility period were combined with tokens obtained after the period to create items, it is technically difficult to retrieve only the "PUBG x NewJeans Loot Cache items" purchased within the eligibility period.
    • If G-COIN was used to purchase both "PUBG x NewJeans Loot Cache items" and contraband crates, it is not possible to reimbursement the used G-COIN unless all the G-COIN is reimbursed to the original payment method.
    • We ask for your understanding to facilitate a smooth refund process.


Inventory Reset Information

  • As previously mentioned, if you apply for the reimbursement option, your inventory will be reset to the state it was in upon your first login after the maintenance on June 12, 2024.
  • To facilitate smooth reimbursement process, the lobby will be automatically reconnected during the inventory reset.
  • Please find the policies below for the inventory reset procedure.


Purchased Items Policy

  • The purchase count for items purchased with the following currency will be reset to the state it was in upon your first login after the maintenance on June 12, 2024.
    • PUBG x NewJeans Collaboration Items (Step Up Package, Loot Cache Package, Emote Pack)
    • Workshop - Artisan Crafting, PUBG x NewJeans Crafting
    • Hideout - Scrap Broker, 50% discount for the first 10 open
  • Items that are no longer available for purchase as of the reimbursement date cannot be repurchased.
  • Items obtained or sold on the Steam Market will not be reissued.


  • Store 
    • All items purchased between the end of maintenance on June 12, 2024, and the time you request the refund will be retrieved, and the used currency will be refunded.


  • PLUS Account and Starter Package 
    • The purchased items will be restored, excluding G-COIN.


  • Pass (Survivor Pass/Workshop Pass) 
    • Free and Premium Pass will be retained at the most recently achieved level and experience points.
    • If you purchased the Survivor Pass, it will be changed to the purchased state.
    • Survivor Points (SP) will be reissued based on the restored level.
    • Pass rewards will be reset to unclaimed status.
    • Levels achieved using G-COIN and level-up items will not be retained.
    • All Pass missions will be reset, and you can earn experience points again even if you have already completed daily/weekly missions before.
    • If the Survivor Pass: Grunge Queen has already ended at the time of your refund application after the #30.2 update, rewards obtained through the Survivor Pass will not be reissued, but the purchased state of the Premium Pass will be retained.


  • PUBG x NewJeans Collaboration Items 
    • All PUBG x NewJeans Loot Cache items and PUBG x NewJeans Emote Packs purchased between the end of maintenance on June 12, 2024, and the time you request the refund will be retrieved.
    • All results obtained from opening PUBG x NewJeans Loot Cache, PUBG x NewJeans Premium Bundle, and PUBG x NewJeans Event Loot Cache between the end of maintenance on June 12, 2024 and the time you request the refund will be retrieved.
    • All PUBG x NewJeans items crafted between the end of maintenance on June 12, 2024, and the time you request the refund will be retrieved.


  • Workshop 
    • All results obtained from using Hunter Chest, Archive Chest, Survivor Chest, Supply Loot Cache, Keys, and Key Fragments between the end of maintenance on June 12, 2024 and the time you request the refund will be retrieved, and the used chests and keys will be reissued.
    • All items crafted, disassembled, or repurposed between the end of maintenance on June 12, 2024 and the time you request the refund will be retrieved, and the used currency and materials will be reissued.
    • If you crafted keys between the end of maintenance on June 12, 2024 and the time you request the refund, the keys will revert to key fragments.


  • Hideout 
    • All results obtained using G-COIN or contraband coupons between the end of maintenance on June 12, 2024, and the time you request the refund will be retrieved, and the used currency will be reissued.
    • All Schematics and Polymers obtained from salvaging between the end of maintenance on June 12, 2024, and the time you request the refund will be retrieved, and the weapon skins used for salvage will be reissued.
    • If you changed the level of a Progressive weapon skin between the end of maintenance on June 12, 2024, and the time you request the refund, it will be reverted to the level at the time of your first log in to the lobby after the maintenance on June 12, 2024.
    • All used Scraps will be restored, and items exchanged for Scraps will be retrieved.


  • Nickname, Clan Tag, Clan Name Change Items 
    • If you used a name/tag change item acquired between the end of maintenance on June 12, 2024, and the time you request the refund, the changed Nickname, Clan Tag, and Clan Name will be retained.



Content Policy

  • The progress, reward status, and settings of the following content will be reset to the state they were in upon your first login after the maintenance on June 12, 2024.

  • Event Center 
    • You can rejoin ongoing events, but if the event has ended at the time of your refund, participation will not be possible.
    • For the rewards of Special Drops events listed below,they will be processed collectively after the reimbursement/G-COIN compensation application period ends.
      • PUBG x NewJeans 
      • Check-in Event
      • LAND LOOT SURVIVE
      • Moment of Truth
      • Daily Supply
    • The progress of The Collector event will be reset, and if you obtained the PUBG x NewJeans Stage [Custom Lobby] reward, the item will be retrieved.
    • Newbie Drops Event & Homecoming Delights
      • As of June 12th, if you were participating in the events, your progress will revert back to June 12th.

        • Any event rewards obtained after the 12th will be reset, allowing continued participation in the event.
      • If you were not participating in the events as of June 12th,

        • All event rewards will be reset, and eligibility for re-participation depends on the following conditions:
          • You cannot participate again in the Homecoming Delight event for returning users.
          • If 14 days have passed since your new registration based on the refund application date, you cannot participate again in the Newbie Drops Event.
          • If less than 14 days have passed since your new registration based on the refund application date, you can participate again in the Newbie Drops Event.


  • Ranked Mode 
    • Season 29 Ranked Tier rewards will be reissued according to the tier conditions achieved by your account.
    • RP and Tier for Season 30 accounts will be retained.
    • Season 30 Ranked Play Point will be preserved.
    • Used Tier Protection items will not be restored.


  • BP 
    • BP is calculated at 4,000 BP per day, and will be distributed collectively based on the number of days logged in from the end of maintenance on June 12th to July 3rd, 02:00 (UTC) after the compensation/reimbursement application period ends. 


  • Tutorial 
    •  Accounts that completed the tutorial after the maintenance on June 12, 2024, will need to complete the tutorial again.


  • Survival Mastery 
    • Survival Mastery progress will not be reset, and rewards obtained for survival level ups to the time of the refund application will be reissued.


  • Promotion Codes 
    • Promotion codes for PLUS accounts, Starter Packs, Pass (Survivor/Workshop Passes), and G-COIN bundles will be changed to the used state.
    • Other event rewards and purchased promotion codes can be reused.
    • If you forgot the information for promotion codes used after the maintenance on June 12, 2024, please contact the seller of the purchased promotion code or the platform where you received it as event reward.


  • Web event 
    • Rewards obtained from the PUBG x NewJeans web event will be retrieved and will be reissued collectively after the event ends.


  • Medals 
    • Medals will not be reset and will be retained as they are.


  • Battlestat 
    • Battlestat recorded between the end of maintenance on June 12, 2024, and the time you request the refund will not be restored, even if you used the Battlestat Exchange Kit.


  • Reputation Level Rewards 
    • Rewards for first reputation level up will be restored, but level maintain rewards will be reset.


  • Lobby/Preset Settings 
    • Due to technical issues, the appearance will be changed to the default appearance.
    • If you apply for the refund option while the PUBG x NewJeans Stage [Custom Lobby] is equipped, it will be changed to the default lobby setting.
