McLaren GT in PUBG: BATTLEGROUNDS
ANNOUNCEMENT
Grand touring will never be the same on a McLaren GT in PUBG: BATTLEGROUNDS. The lightest and quickest accelerating grand tourer from the British automobile manufacturer McLaren Automotive will take you and your partner around the world in a fashionable manner.
Born in Surrey, England, the GT features a 4-liter V8 turbocharged engine behind the passenger seat for ideal weight distribution. Talking about weight, weighing at just over 1,400 kg dry, the GT is a joy to drive. It is a supercar for an everyday driver.
The beauty of GT doesn’t end there. You can go to the Workshop to configure your one-and-only GT so that you can be the center of attention all day, every day. Choose from a variety of eleven stunning exterior colors, two sleek wheels, and five different colors of brake calipers on your GT’s state-of-the-art carbon ceramic brakes.

Vehicle Skin System Update
- Dress your Coupe RB with fancy McLaren vehicle skins.
- Equipping McLaren skins will not affect Coupe RB’s original vehicle specs.
- Keys for equipping vehicle skins have been bound to the following:
- Use vehicle without equipping skin:
- PC F, Xbox/Stadia X, PlayStation® ▢.
- Equip vehicle skin
- PC H, Xbox/Stadia LB + X, PlayStation® L1 + ▢.
- Players who’ve been using the above keybindings for vehicle use will have to change their keybinding settings again after this update.
- If you have more than one vehicle skin, a list of skins you own for the vehicle will pop up for you to select.
- Use vehicle without equipping skin:
- Vehicle skin equip effect
- A special effect has been added to vehicles when equipping skin.
- The effect will be canceled if:
- The vehicle moves (driving, collision, friction, etc.)
- A player gets in the vehicle
- The player moves too far from the vehicle after interaction
- The vehicle receives damage (tire damage included)
- When another player selects another skin
- If the effect is canceled, the vehicle will maintain its original appearance.
- If the vehicle received damage during the effect, the damage will remain on the vehicle.
- McLaren Container Car
- A special container car will spawn in each starting point of Erangel, Miramar, Taego, Sanhok, Vikendi, and Deston.
- special container cars will open up to reveal a vehicle with a McLaren skin equipped.
- The interaction UI will only be available to players who own a McLaren vehicle skin.
- Only the player who opens the container and/or their teammates can ride and drive the vehicle.
New Pass: Crafter Pass
To allow players to experience the Workshop feature, the main rewards include items that can be used for McLaren Workshop. For those who have been waiting for the next round of the Survivor Pass, it’s not gone! Survivor Pass will be coming back in December, so stay tuned!

- Clear daily, weekly, season, and achievement missions and obtain McLaren Tokens and craft McLaren items!
- Make sure to use up obtained McLaren Tokens before their expiry date: PC: November 7 UTC. Console November 14 PST.
- Expired McLaren Tokens will be removed from your Inventory and cannot be used/exchanged/refunded.
- McLaren tokens are rewarded as bonus rewards from level 50.

- Requirements: All players who have the Premium Pass.
- Due to legal issues, the Premium Crafter Pass will not be available in the Netherlands and Belgium. The Pass itself will be shown, but the Premium Pass or the items within the Pass will not be available for purchase in these regions.
Make Your Own GT
- McLaren Special Vehicle skins and exclusive customize items are added.
- Collect McLaren tokens and create McLaren GT – Elite trim (Volcano Yellow), McLaren GT – Standard trim (Silica White) and 18 customized items.
- Crafter Pass: McLaren and McLaren Loot Cache bundle items will be sold until November 2.
- All expired tokens will be taken away from the inventory and cannot be used or exchanged with other items once expired.
