Improved Unban Policy for Account Theft

ANNOUNCEMENT 2026.07.21

Hello, players.

This is the PUBG: BATTLEGROUNDS Team.

The improved unban policy for account theft victims, which we shared in a previous notice, will take effect on July 22, 2026, at 02:00 UTC.

[Updated Unban Criteria]

  • Accounts with a secondary password set: One unban per half-year, per account (up to twice per year)

  • Accounts without a secondary password: One unban per lifetime, as before

[Additional Notes]

  • If an account with a secondary password set was permanently banned while it was stolen, it will be eligible for up to two unbans per year starting July 22, 2026, at 02:00 UTC.

  • For accounts without a secondary password, the existing policy of one unban per lifetime remains unchanged.

  • If an account used its one unban due to account theft before the secondary password feature was introduced, and later suffers account theft again and requests a review, we'll re-examine whether it was actually stolen, one time only.

    • If the review confirms the account was stolen, the ban will be lifted. If not, the case won't be reviewed again.

For any inquiries related to account theft, please reach out to us through PUBG Support.

Thank you.
