SLB: DAWNBREAKERS OF RONDO

ANNOUNCEMENT 2026.10.14

Hello, players!

Power the generators in a Rondo shrouded in darkness, hold off the oncoming Hungers, and survive until dawn.

With the October update, the fourth Survivors Left Behind arrives. In the co-op PvE mode SLB: Dawnbreakers of Rondo, set in the familiar Rondo, gather materials with your teammates and craft weapons and deployables to prepare for the next fight.

Get ready to face Hungers armed with even more menacing moves and new attack patterns and take on a new Defense Phase that will keep you on edge until the very end. Use the newly added throwables, deployables, and special weapons strategically to activate the Generators and Capacitors and complete each level's objectives.

Survive Rondo’s increasingly tense nights and greet the dawn!

■ Mode Overview

  • SLB: Dawnbreakers of Rondo is a co-op PvE mode for up to 4 players.

  • Go to Play > Arcade > SLB: Dawnbreakers of Rondo to enter and start matchmaking.

  • You can form a team by playing solo, inviting friends, or using auto matchmaking.

  • Once all players are ready after entering the lobby, the game starts.

 ■  Basic Rules and Objectives

  • Survive waves of enemies at different locations in Rondo. Activate and defend the Capacitor, the final objective to complete the stage and escape.

  • Survive and make it to the location where you can send an escape signal. Follow the instructions below to make it out alive.

    • Follow the cables connected to the Generator to reach the location where you can send an escape signal.

    • Find Gas Cans to refuel the Generator and supply power to the Capacitor. Protect the Capacitor from the Hungers while it charges.

      • If an activated Capacitor is destroyed by Hungers, its progress is reset.

    • Once the Capacitor is fully charged, it will send the escape signal, allowing you to escape from Rondo in the deep darkness.

  • Survive with at least one team member and complete the missions to earn stage and difficulty rewards.

    • Stage Rewards are permanently added to your inventory. Collect as many as you can.

    • Non-weapon items carry over between stages, so be sure to stock up.

■ Difficulty and Locations

Rookie and Veteran difficulties are available. The composition, number, and stats of Hungers vary by difficulty. When you start a session, you and your teammates can choose the difficulty and your preferred location.

Fight across six major locations in Rondo.

  • Jao Tin: Opera

  • Yu Garden

  • Yun Gu: Mall

  • Rin Jiang: Docks

  • Stadium

  • Jadena City

■ Gameplay Strategy

  • Vending Machine

At the start of each stage, interact with a Vending Machine to obtain a basic weapon. Equip weapons to suit the combat situation and prepare for the Hungers' attacks.

  • Crafting Desk

Use the materials you collect during combat to craft weapons, items, consumables, and deployables. Use the Crafting Desks placed around the map to craft better equipment and consumables!

    • Powerful Weapons

This time, you can craft an even wider variety of weapons at the Crafting Desk. Make use of the expanded weapon options to equip gear that suits the combat situation and your playstyle, and prepare for the approaching Hungers.

Tip! Ammo is unlimited. Also, crafting powerful weapons requires rare resources, so always keep an eye on your crafting materials.

    • Food

Craft and eat food to gain various buffs and boost your combat strength. You can use up to 3 different types of soup at the same time to gain multiple buff effects at once. Food comes in 2 tiers, Regular and Superior, and higher-tier food has greater effects and a longer duration. Buff effects fade after a certain period of time.

      • Vegetable Soup : Increases reload speed and reduces weapon recoil.

      • Pork Stew : Increases HP and movement speed.

      • Spiced Broth: Increases knockdown effect when enemies are hit.

    • Deployables

Deployables are items you can place in combat areas to help you defend while the Capacitor charges. Use them to fend off attacks from multiple Hungers or support your teammates. Make the most of them by keeping your limited resources and placement options in mind.

      • Light Turret: An automated turret that rotates side to side and fires only when enemies cross its detection laser.

      • Heavy Turret: An automated turret that attacks Hungers within range with powerful explosive rounds.

      • Manned Turret: A player-operated stationary turret that delivers powerful sustained fire at the cost of mobility. Ideal for defending objectives and vital positions.

      • Barbed Wire: A Barbed Wire trap that adapts to the terrain, slowing enemies that pass through. Durability decreases over time and with each crossing.

      • Spike Trap: A Spike Trap that adapts to the terrain. Enemies that cross it take damage and suffer Bleed, taking additional damage over time.

      • Weapon Crates (Hand Cannon, Flamethrower, Grenade Launcher): Each crate contains four of the corresponding weapon. Weapons obtained from the weapon crate are destroyed when discarded, unequipped, or fully expended.

        • Hand Cannon Crate: Contains four Hand Cannons that deal high damage to a single target.

        • Flamethrower Crate: Contains four Flamethrowers that deal sustained fire damage to enemies.

          • However, Hungers wearing fire-resistant suits are immune to fire damage from the Flamethrower.

        • Grenade Launcher Crate: Contains four Grenade Launchers that deal high area damage.

      • Healing Station: A support device that creates a healing zone. Restores HP over time, removes debuffs, and revives downed allies within its area.

    • New Throwable - Anti-Personnel Mine

A throwable explosive that attaches to any surface and automatically detonates when enemies approach.

  • Cooperation

Has a teammate died? Retrieve their Blue Chip and recall them in the Safehouse. Death isn't the end!

    • Collect your ally's Blue Chip from their deathbox and recall them at a Recall Station inside a Safehouse.

    • Remove debuffs inflicted on teammates by certain Hungers. Also, share your resources with your teammates and use them for crafting to grow stronger against the Hungers!

■ Hungers

The Hungers you encountered in the previous Survivors Left Behind battle have arrived in Rondo, more dynamic and threatening than ever. New Hungers armed with new ways to attack have also appeared: the Shield Alpha Hunger, which blocks frontal attacks with a shield; the Shooter Hunger, which keeps its distance and attacks with a firearm; and the Dog Hunger, the first animal-type Hunger, which quickly rushes in low to the ground. Watch out for the Hungers’ increasingly unpredictable movements and attack patterns!

  • Shield Alpha Hunger: Blocks frontal attacks with a shield. Aim for the head or attack from behind to deal damage effectively.

  • Shooter Hunger: Keeps its distance from players and attacks from range with a firearm.

  • Dog Hunger: The first animal-type Hunger. It closes in while staying low to the ground, so be careful with your aim.

■ Carry-over Items

First Aid Kits, crafting items, and throwables you have collected can be used in your next match. The rewards you can obtain vary depending on the stage and difficulty. Complete stage objectives for a chance to obtain carry-over weapons and equipment that you can continue using in future matches. You can check the rewards for each stage on the Stage Select screen.

Tip! Each carry-over item has a unique combat effect. Collect a variety of items by taking on higher difficulties and stages, build your own loadout, and prepare for the Hungers’ increasingly fierce attacks.
